JCAHPO and ATPO, in collaboration with The American Academy of Ophthalmology, are
offering exhibit hall passes on our registration form to allow you a "one-stop
shopping" experience!
These passes are being offered at a specially-reduced fee of $75.00 to JCAHPO and
ATPO attendees, and are good for the entire four days of the exhibit hall.
The exhibit hall badge will allow you to visit the world's largest exhibition of
ophthalmic technology. More than 500 companies will showcase the newest and most
innovative ophthalmic products and services, including surgical instruments, ocular
prosthetics, operating room equipment and supplies, pharmaceuticals, and physician
and patient education materials. Other exhibitors will showcase products and services

JCAHPO's Certification Department staff will be at the Hilton Atlanta Hotel. Our
staff will answer any questions you may have regarding certification, recertification,
computer-based certification exams, the simulated COT skill evaluation, and more!
We will be featuring the COT skill evaluation tutorial for you to try hands-on.
Visit the booth in the Rockdale Room on the 2nd floor, between courses or during
a break, for personal assistance, and to ask questions.

Offered in collaboration with the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in
Ophthalmology (JCAHPO®)
Synopsis: Now in its sixth year, Coding Camp takes place on Saturday
in the same location as the Academy meeting as part of the AAOE course offerings.
This intensive full-day meeting is designed to enhance participants' knowledge of
proper coding and documentation in order to appropriately maximize reimbursement.
Non-members can attend the AAOE Coding Camp without registering for the 2008 Joint
Meeting.
This program will be of value to physicians, as well as to administrators, billers,
coders, office managers, and other ophthalmic medical personnel - all of whom should
be well educated on coding protocol. This Coding Camp will empower the entire coding
team with information on the newest rules and regulations for documentation.
With coverage on all subspecialties, participants will learn to code exams, consultations,
special testing services, and major and minor surgical procedures. The course is
taught at an intermediate level.
Prerequisites: A familiarity with E&M and Eye code documentation,
modifier application, and ophthalmic terminology. Coding Camp is taught at
an intermediate level.
