Harold A. Stein, MD, FRCS(C)* Prize for Best Scientific Paper
$1,500 cash prize, plus $500 travel and lodging reimbursement for attendance at JCAHPO's Annual CE Program.
All ophthalmic medical personnel are invited to submit an original scientific paper on any ophthalmic topic of their choice (i.e., glaucoma, contact lenses, dry eye, animal eyes, cataracts, macular degeneration, etc.)

*Harold A. Stein, MD, FRCS(C), was the president of JCAHPO in 1986 and 1987, and is the author of numerous publications, including the ever popular "Ophthalmic Assistant/A Text for Allied & Associated Ophthalmic Personnel" now in its 8th edition. To perpetuate the prize, Dr. Stein is donating to the JCAHPO Education and Research all royalties from specific books which he has authored.
