The JCAHPO & ATPO Webinar continuing education series is a new, cost-effective way for ophthalmic personnel to take courses and
earn credits from the convenience of their home or office. Short for Web-based Seminar, Webinars are courses or lectures transmitted
over the internet from a remote location to registered attendees. Currently scheduled for one lecture a month, JCAHPO seminars can
be viewed anywhere the attendee has a high-speed internet connection.

Nearly two dozen courses on a wide range of ophthalmic topics are available for
CE credit at this website. Registered users may purchase courses, complete the course
work, take the test, and receive immediate test results, as well as printed confirmation
of credits earned.

JCAHPO's Online Bookstore offers more than 100 educational and reference materials
to assist ophthalmic medical personnel in expanding their knowledge and competence.
Available resources include published books and articles on ophthalmic topics, reference

CLAO Home Study Course for Contact
Lens Technicians
This course, developed by the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists (CLAO),
provides basic-to-intermediate-level training in contact lens fitting.
JCAHPO Low Vision Self-Study Course
The course includes the Lighthouse Manual, Refinements Module 34 titled "Rehabilitation
of the Low Vision Patient," and a 50-question examination. The answer sheet
may be completed and submitted to JCAHPO for credit.
AAOE/JCAHPO Ophthalmic Coding Specialist
Examination
JCAHPO and the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives (AAOE) partnered in development
of this examination covering 18 topics related to ophthalmic coding. The examination
may be completed and returned to JCAHPO for credit.
