Webinars

The JCAHPO & ATPO Webinar continuing education series is a new, cost-effective way for ophthalmic personnel to take courses and earn credits from the convenience of their home or office. Short for Web-based Seminar, Webinars are courses or lectures transmitted over the internet from a remote location to registered attendees. Currently scheduled for one lecture a month, JCAHPO seminars can be viewed anywhere the attendee has a high-speed internet connection.

ACTIONED
The ACTIONED Web site offers courses at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, with new courses added regularly. ACTIONED courses feature current topics and state-of-the-art technology such as:

• Interactive simulation
• Downloadable audio
• Audio/video
• Downloadable text
• Web-based seminars

Most ACTIONED courses include a quiz or assessment as the final component of an activity. Upon completion of the quiz, you will receive feedback on your results and have an opportunity to print a continuing education credit certificate for your records.

AAOE/JCAHPO Ophthalmic Coding Specialist Examination
JCAHPO and the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives (AAOE) partnered in development of this examination covering 18 topics related to ophthalmic coding. The examination is available for purchase on the ACTIONed Web site.

Online Bookstore

JCAHPO's Online Bookstore offers more than 100 educational and reference materials to assist ophthalmic medical personnel in expanding their knowledge and competence. Available resources include published books and articles on ophthalmic topics, reference materials, and professional development publications.
